Spotify’s different applications allow you to see who has liked your playlist, but the online player does not. In the first place, just the total number of people who have followed a playlist may be shown. If Spotify users follow your complete account, rather than just one or more playlists, you’ve been able to see their profiles. To find out who has loved your Spotify playlist, keep reading.
For the Spotify PC app, take these steps to view your playlist’s listeners:
Select the playlist whose followers you would want to view in your notification bar. You’ll find what you’re looking for if you look in the proper place on the screen.
As previously stated, these people’ profiles are no longer accessible. Despite the fact that this functionality was once in place, it was once again disabled (presumably for data protection reasons).
If you use Spotify on mobile devices, you proceed in a similar way:
Opens the desired playlist. Directly under the title you will find the number of these Spotify playlist followers.
In the mobile app you can find the number of Spotify playlist followers here.
Do you want to know who is following your profile? On this issue, Spotify is really a bit more informative. You may mainly examine and call up the individual profiles. Again, this is only feasible via the mobile or PC app — but not straight in the browser. You may locate your followers by following these steps:
Here you will get an overview of all people who follow your profile, as well as the opportunity to call up these profiles and obtain the following information from these individuals:
Sign in using your Facebook account to see the music subscriptions of your Facebook friends if you’re curious about what they’re into. Spotify’s social network must be connected to in order to perform this. Open the main menu and click Settings to discover this option beneath your profile picture. You may link or disconnect your Facebook account from the Social option under Facebook. If any of your Facebook friends use the music streaming service, you’ll be able to view their profiles here under the Find friends heading if they have an account.
Spotify has a lot of playlists, but many people don’t utilise them to their maximum potential. This is a pity, in my opinion. As a result, I’ll go through how to identify and follow the most fascinating playlists on the service in the sections that follow.
Spotify has a wide variety of playlists, including those curated by the service’s staff, those produced by the platform based on user preferences, and those made by users themselves.
As an example, if you want to locate the most popular playlists of a certain music genre, you must first click on the Navigate item in Spotify’s upper left corner and then on the icon of the music genre in question. The most popular playlists on Spotify will be presented in this manner, making it easy for you merely to click on a single one of them and begin listening.
Just click on the Made for you option in the left sidebar and you’ll be taken to a variety of playlists that Spotify has created for you, such as Discover Weekly and Release Radar. The latter are based on what you’ve already listened to on Spotify and offer songs that you may like and new releases that are relevant to your preferences.
I’d also suggest taking a look at the Daily Mixes, which include a different mix of music from your favourite artists every day.
Search for a certain playlist by typing in the search field at the top and selecting the most appropriate option. It’s then as simple as pressing the playlist icon and the heart symbol at the top left to store the playlist: this way, you can instantly retrieve it from the list on the left sidebar (the playlist will update automatically in case of changes by the respective author, you do not have to do anything).
Obviously, you can follow playlists via the official Spotify app for (Android and iOS).
Simply select the Search button and put the name of the playlist in the search bar to get the playlists that best fit your needs. If you prefer, you may browse Spotify’s classic playlists, such as Discover Weekly and Release Radar, by tapping on the item Created for you. Also, there is a variety of genre-specific playlists, which may be accessed by clicking on a certain music genre’s name on the screen.
To continue, regardless of the type of playlist chosen, you just need to tap on the icon of the playlist you want to follow and press on the FOLLOW item , present just below the name of the playlist itself.
This way, the playlist will be placed on the Your Library tab , from where you can quickly access its most up-to-date version.
